In the Many Isles, a ranking system is used to denote an adventurer's status and seniority. Higher tiers can grant some benefits, including access to premium products on the digital library and a variety of other small perks, such as having a fancy title, color, and banner. Titles are usually granted for special accomplishments or functions.
We distinguish between three kinds of rankings: titles, which are a subcategory of tiers, and the separate roles.

Tiers
Titles are grouped in tiers. For information on a tier's benefits, see the Tiers article.
Tier 0 (Adventurer)
Anyone can reach titles of tier 0. The lowest one, Adventurer, is the default; various actions, including writing lore or notability, can bestow higher titles. This tier's color is blue.
Tier 1
The red Tier 1 is tied to more effort, such as investing money into the Many Isles or taking up an executive position.
Tier 2 (Hero)
Tier 2 is a higher distinction within the two red tiers. Many mods or administrators have Tier 2 titles.
Tier 3 (Avatar)
Although not true members of the Pantheon, Tier 3 title-holders are greatly invested in the Pantheon, or act as its representatives, and have vast access to the Many Isles. The tier is golden.
Tier 4 (God)
Full Pantheon members are part of the ultimate tier.
Titles

Adventurer
The Adventurer title is granted as soon as a user creates an account in the Many Isles, or otherwise takes part in the Many Isles community. An Adventurer can freely access all open features of the Many Isles website, gains access to the discord, and is a member of the Many Isles community.
Poet
The Poet title is gained by editing or publishing a page powered by the Many Isles Wiki.
Trader
The Trader title is gained when closing a companionshipwith the Many Isles. It grants greater access to the digital library and access to the partnership program as per the Trader’s Agreement. This title is lost if the member ends their companionship.
Journeyman
The Journeyman tier 0 title is granted to adventurers performing special services for the Many Isles, such as serving in the administration.
Dungeon Master
The Dungeon Master tier 1 title is granted to Dungeon Masters of the Many Isles Adventures tool (currently not in development), or to any other Game Masters in a Many Isles context.
Royal Valkyrie
The Royal Valkyrie tier 1 title is granted when acquiring the Many Isles tier of the same name.
Imperial Soldier
The Imperial Soldier tier 1 title is gained through the acquisition of the patreon tier with the same name. Currently in disuse.
Knight
The Knight tier 1 title is granted to special functionaries of Many Isles administration.
Grand Wizard
The Grand Wizard tier 2 title is gained through the acquisition of the Many Isles tier of the same name.
Loremaster
The Loremaster tier 2 title is currently in disuse.
High Merchant
The High Merchant tier 2 title is gained by closing a premium partnership with the Many Isles. It grants the usual tier 2 benefices, and access to the partnership program as per the Trader’s Agreement.
Grand Poet
The Grand Poet tier 3 title is gained through the acquisition of a Mystral subscription.
Legendar
The Legendar tier 3 title is gained through the acquisition of the Many Isles Mystral of the same name. Alternatively, comes with a Mystral subscription.
Master Architect
The Master Architect tier 3 title is gained when a member exceptionally adds articles, usually lore, to a service of the Many Isles, notably the < a href="/docs/20/">fandom.
Avatar
The Avatar tier 3 title is gained when a member becomes a moderator on one of the Many Isle’s services. This includes Discord and Reddit. Avatars are nominated by Pantheon representatives.
Younger God
Newer members of the Pantheon, or ones without necessity for absolute power, are granted the title of Younger God tier 4 title. It comes with near-complete control over the Many Isles as well as the huge responsibility of handling the community and keeping it great.
Elder God
The Elder God tier 4 title is granted to original founders and new masters of the Many Isles, and comes with complete control over the Many Isles as well as the huge responsibility of handling the community and keeping it great.
Roles
Roles refer to responsibilities rather than status. Usually, an adventurer can have multiple roles.
Further Information
§0.3.8 Losing a Title
Once a title has been acquired, it is nearly permanent. A title gained through purchase is especially permanent. Exceptions include the High Merchant, which remains only as long as their partnership is upheld. Titles may be removed if a member breaks the Adventurer’s Agreement or through other incorrect actions.
Whenever an action warranting a higher title is performed, the older one is overwritten.
