Auto-LinkingGuide
14.12.2021

Auto-links are a mystral feature that allow you to insert links into your markdown without any effort.

Note that this only works in mystral.

When you create a link with the ctrl + shift + k command, you see a slider that allows you to turn the option of creating a new keyword on or off. If this is on when you insert the link, the keyword and its url will be saved.

[note]Any "s" at the end of a keyword, both when creating and using, will be ignored. Also, mystral will save single keywords and two-word pairs, but no longer ones. [/note]

This will overwrite any identical existing keyword.

Using Auto-Linking

Whenever you write a keyword, or a sequence of two words saved as a keyword, they will automatically be replaced with the proper link markdown, without you having to do a thing. This is very comfortable for common links.

You can turn off auto-linking on the top left.

Note that auto-linking will only be done for the first occurence of a keyword in a markdown text box (see this doc for more), and not every time you write it.

Deleting a Keyword

To delete a keyword, visit your mystral hub and navigate to the Auto-Linking page. You can have an overview over all saved keywords here, and delete whichever you don't want anymore.
