Blogs Special Markdown ElementsDocumentation
30.3.2022

In addition to standard markdown, blog posts and comments also take special elements.

You can insert up to 5 embedded links when writing a Many Isles blog post or comment; these will be parsed into neat attachments at the bottom of your post body.

Syntax

See this post for an example of embedded attachments.

To include an embedded link in your text, use the following syntax:

[embed]https://www.manyisles.ch/fandom/wiki/2/Karte-Caedras[/embed] You can copy links from digital library publications or fandom articles by clicking the link icon (). This element must be written on a single line. Otherwise, it won't be recognized.

Accepted Links. Direct links to fandom articles, digital library products or digital store items will be parsed, with proper images and titles. You can also put in any other link, which will not be recognized but nevertheless added as the embed attachment.

References

You can write references to users and tags, which will automatically be parsed.

User References

You can write user references like this: @User. If the name has spaces, remove them. Capitalization does not matter.

Tag References

Write tags like this: #tag. Tags with spaces don't work.
